Why you need to get it:
--> is like a mini Photoshop which does filters, changes colors, resizes beautifully, fine rotation (even specify º, heck!)etc. but instead only applies effects to the entire image (can't work with a specific section - only down side)
--> views and converts not only images, but sounds, music, movies, just about everything if you get all its extra plugins
--> Nothing beats free. NOTHING. B-)

Umm last time I checked Irfanview didn't have alpha. And yes I have it along with GIMP, which does support alpha in png.

I don't really understand the spawn spark making but I really like this one.
