I've been getting these 'Winfixer' popups recently. They're the only ones that make it past my popup blocker.

I checked for any spyware, there is none on my computer. So why am i getting these popups? Is there a program that may detect any Winfixer spyware on my pc?

U could try this one ? http://www.remove-winfixer.com/ :)
Or Hijack this (post the log here or something >_>)

Hijack This has the user to be careful over registry entries - in that program you've got to know what you're doing. In my opinion, the best way to remove spyware is to manually delete it. Programs like Ad-Aware don't delete the fully infectious files. Also, try Spyware Doctor or Spybot Search and Destroy.

ad-aware will get rid of most things, thats really the only one i've ever had to use on anyone's computer. spyware can require other things, but what you're describing is defiantely adware, which ad-aware is best at

I used to get this damn thing all the time. Solution: do not use internet explorer. I switched to Firefox and it stopped for me.

As darknoddy said, Hijackthis would probably take care of that for you. Make sure it creates a log and then copy to this site:

www.hijackthis.de

It helped me a whole lot. It categorizes the entries as safe, nasty, or potentially nasty.
From there you just have to use common sense and remember if you installed it yourself or not. E.g. A math program i needed for school came out as nasty there cause the site is unfamiliar with it.
The site gets updated regularly, though.

I use ad-aware too, it is the best, better than other spyware I have, even IT at my college recomends it.

Did a google search.. These two are trojans. (I'm pretty sure of it anyway)

EDIT: gforce, ad-aware's got nothing when it comes to trojans, viruses

I'm not entirely sure it's a trojan, but I am sure it's something he doesn't want on his computer..
