ok me and my fam went sledding. At the end of sledding I went into my car the car was hot and the snow melted and ended up soaking wet but warn. As we pulled up to the house I opened the door and it was below freezing my hand started smoking and ~I was like WOW im smoking~'hehe' lol when i sept out and i started smoking all over. ^_^

Its because the water on his hand was warm.. >.< If you exhale on really cold days you can see your breath in the same way, or get your hand soaked in hot water and stick it out the window on a cold day! TaDa! Steam!!!
