Hi!
Thats my second map for Soldat in PolyWorks. ;)

It's a DM Arena map for 2+ Players.
Well, the scenario is after an "Mystery" explosion in the Nature and then ... time stood still ...

Dont touch the ground in the center of the Explosion or you get hurt.
Bigs/Birds are colliders. Walkable Cars :) ..

Wow, just wow. Another brilliant map with a unique theme. I mean, have you ever seen flying cars in a map before? Lol! Nice invisible walls, too :)

I actually had an idea for a map like this, where it was a helicopter attacking a building, and all the explosions, flying debris and bullets were frozen in time.

But this is just...wow...amazing

Excellent looks, gonna try it out as soon as the waypoints are done.
I only got a question, after staring the overview for a couple of minutes (stunned by it)... Why are cars and other debris flying into the explosion, when trees and road are flying out of it? :P
Or is it an implosion... or am i just getting the wrong lightening effect o.O

Yes they are flying away from the explosion. ANd as yousaid its an Lighting effect NOT a flying Trail.
WHen something explodes and its not fullbright sunny day. then the dust in the air gets illuminated arround the objects and because the obejcts blocks the light in the opposite direction of the explosion lighttrays appears at the side of the objects.

I dont think that the size of objects are always real-life linspirated in Soldat ;). And that you have also more cover ;) ..
Sometimes you have to make objects bibber in computergames ..

Not necessarily. An explosion will suck things in before and in the early parts of the explosion. At least I would think so :P.

x-tender you really have to work on your layouts, i'm serious. all this gfx stuff is nonsense if there isn't any possibility of a good gameplay. this one is a one way map and that means it's even worse than your first one (which wasnt thaaaaat bad in gameplay actually, but this...)

10/10 for optics.
6/10 overall

I know that you cant find an usual gameplay on this Map. Its just something "new". I just wanted to make it.. if you like it or not its ok =o) ..
Andi promisse that the CTF map i'am planing will have a better Gameplay, there is the GFX not in the first place. But I will not have much of time in future to build it fast, jsut weekends. SO i think you must be a bit patient till I release the nw Map ;) ..

OH of course you can find a usual gameplay. Load it up in public with a bunch of noobs. It would fun since this map is big and stuff. I say camp on the cars and barret the noobs :P.

I actually quite like the gameplay from what I've tried of it, it's fun.

Perfect as a rambo match, actually.

I, for one, hadn't had any ideas of a map where time stood still. And I find this map VERY creative. I love unconvetional maps and this one is quite good. Certainly looks lovely.
