Hip Hop style music with no lyrics, just a good beat.

LOL depends on the movie.

sv was great in music and orchestral/sad violin for only one reason, when a war hero gets shot and is dieing but not dead.

All Counter strike movies are ruined when they put emo in it. Do NOT use emo!!

Like, children of bodom kinda stuff. 'opera metal' if you will, lots of keyboard action with amazingly fast upbeat DEATH

Songs from Children of Bodom are a perfect example.

And please, PLEASE, no linkin park.

I sould sort of see SoaD working for a Soldat movie, but it all matters what sort of movie you're aiming for.

I don't mind metal and it's various off springs, but it's used way too much in soldat movies. Always the same stuff ...action-packed soldat videos with power riffs and people screaming. Like that ain't been done enough.

As much as I like punk, I cant see it showing up in a video.

Somthing with the vocalist screaming his head off. Like Drowning Pool for example.

Depends on the movie. For lots of action and frag highlights, something harder works quite well, but since I seen your SC movie, I trust you could do something extraordinairy with techno-pop music aswell :)

Yeah that music from "hype" was nice. It kinda "loosend" the video
and made the funny in a good way.

I always liked tencho kinda stuff on soldat films, not rave stuff but still can be called tencho, stuff like Origa - Inner Universe(Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex Theme) or The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Part 2. Then again I have no problem with any rap like Outkast - Bombs ober bagdad or Kanye West - Diamonds are Forever. Metal is fine too but its so overdone, I know the few that watched my video would tell me I put metal in my video, but I kinda did it as a joke, I picked a song that I loved and I knew alot of people would hate. I forgot the bands name that made this song but chakra can help me out, after all he is the one that sent it to me "Bustle in and out" good stuff.

Western Music and random Techno-Pop Dance Music.

Ok
January 23, 2006, 9:52 pm
Its quite simple, when alot of stuff are going on in the screen and the point is to pass on the feeling on action, fast beat is inorder, could be trance, could be that metal crap.
When something funny is going on, some funny music could be played. or some bloobers sound in the middle of the fast beat rythem, to emphasize the level of stupidity displayed :)

For some dramatic deaths and so called heroic meatshielding, some opera drama could be played :)

A movie needs all of the above to actualy good.
Espacialy in Soldat, when all you have to see are "amazing" players owning noobs...
