Hey Ho!

Was a little bit bored today so i created a few Multitextures.
Because I will not have time to create more Soldat Maps in the future I want to give if for free to you ;)

You can Download the while set in BMP/PSD and as a small BONUS for you as PSD Photoshop Source format. There are the texture in a High-Res (256x1024) with all Layers and Masks.

Perfect! I've been looking for some more good multitextures for an idea I've had and this may just be the solution.

I'm trying to figure out how you manipulate these textures easily. Otherwise they would just look like a single texture with different images. If you try using the quad function then the images wont sample right. Perhaps you can have the 4 main textures...then at the end have 3 transition textures. I'm not sure if this will work or not.

I ended up using these coordinates for the autumn texture...

100
220
239
430
500
512

All txtures are optimized for 128x128 blocks.

>.<

O well this is what I came up with.

This is not the finished version, just doing a favor for somone, just an example on how to use these textures. 99% of the map looks uniform or at least reasonable.

perhaps i should take hints from you however let me show you what it looks like without the colors.

maybe you can show me a thing or two however I dont think I like this better. You dont get the feeling that the texture is dirt, looks like one big rock. Perhaps edit your textures?

Brought to you in high definition, widescreen :P.

Could You possibly make the grass more green and the dirt more brown in the texture, possibly?

oh .. well i look later if i find some time.
the other thing i wonder on your example is .. why is the grass so "sqeezed" its just a tiny line.

ah btw! you SML php code SUCK! :) .. why did you scale 1024x768 pictures down to 100x100 :x .. not realy optimized ..

I'm guessing you need Polyworks to use this? Too bad I can't seem to use polyworks. I get some runtime error :|
