Original idea by Lunatic_Cow.
The map is based in (and named after) a historical event. Alpha team spawns at the bottom left, while Bravo team spawns under the top right boulders.

[DOWNLOAD THE 2ND VERSION] - This is the "normal infiltration" version: Alpha must climb, get the black flag and return to the white flag at Alpha base. Gameplay is better this way.

Very nice, I have made a few maps like this (one also based on hamburger hill) but none of them ended up how I wanted them.

You have done exactly what I hoped to make, Thankyou! Now I can finally play an awsome hill map.

I love the way you have made the jungle in the background, it looks very realsitic, in a soldat kind of way.

The bots for the alpha team can't get up the hill very well and get stuck in certain parts. There is no problems with the other team. This isn't a big problem, I just thought I'd let you know.

Edit: I really like that hut at the bottom of the hill, it makes you feel like you're in Vietnam, not just any old jungle.

Great job guys. The shading is good and I really just love the background. Awesome map, although the lack of routes can be a downside.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Especially rainrider's :P

We may not have colliders put in to prevent barret shooting but we did add sandbags and that hut over there to prevent spawnkilling Alphas from above.

The jungle indeed looks awesome. Looks like I'll have to get a playtest on this one too :)

EDIT: Uhh. The jungle is nice, but that's it. The main problem is that it's reverse-inf, and because it takes an awfully lot of time to reach the top, bravo team will barely get any points on this map. And for a bonus, the whole hill is slipper, so random grenade explosions will keep the attackers in the hill, with the flag misplaced, thus bravo won't get points again. The looks are great, the gameplay drowns the map. Sorry.

It's alright, we only did this for Lunatic_Cow's satisfaction, but I agree with you, Demonic, the gameplay is horrific. However, if L_C likes this, then me and OoO's mission here is accomplished :)

Where is Lunatic_Cow, anyway?...

Well, I hope you don't mind, L_C, but due to numerous complaints about gameplay, I've modified the map so that Alpha's flag is at their base and Bravo's flag is at the top of the hill - in other words, a regular inf. Don't worry, I'll keep the reverse version of it up...after all, I can't edit another person's topic x)
