... i dont want to sound like a reeeaallly stupid noob, but how do i get the URL for pictures for an avatar, AND....How do i get pic in my signature?

Um do right click on the picture and do properties and copy the image url and paste it into the avatar link box in your profile (Please make sure its under 20kb) and for the signature get the image link and put it in between [IMAGE] in the signature editing box and make sure that is under 20kb and less than or equal to 125 pixels tall and 300 pixels wide

and depending on image size(if you have one)
you can have some text :)
