I got vista working in vista on my computer running Windows Vista Beta 2 February CTP Build 5308 (latest)

PS: Sound has a bit of lag (~1/4 second) also some screen lag, kinda looks like a slight slowmo, but says ~40 FPS. Gonna try fraps, doubt itll work

Off topic: Is't it lame of microsoft to switch colors to black and green? Like the xbox and the new msn version will have the colors and now this OS :/ I prefer the good old blue.

Any mojor changes bewteen beta 1 and beta 2? I tried one and found the folder system quite confusing!

What do you mean? I see Black and blue. if you are hinting at the wallpaper, i just havent changed it ;p

Also, i never used beta 1 and probably wont, i joined the beta fairly recently. I dont think the folder system is confusing, but maybe its me. or maybe they have changed it. This release is fairly feature-compleate and is much more stable and a much better example of what may be a final release, now, its basically just optimizing the hell out of it and fix up a few bugs, then start working on SP1 :)

Please tell me that the good ol start menu is still the same when you click on the windows logo. Im afraid of what I'll have to get used to when the vista is finally released.

Where do you get that evaluation copy?

I think you have to subscribe to Microsoft's Developer Network, and then you can download a disk image and burn it to CD. Or there's bittorrent.
