OK, so I got introduced to Soldat at work. Works great there. Get home, download the same version and install. I give the same default setup details. Start the game. The menus for player customization and such are fine (a little dark, but everything is visible). So I click the big ol' START button, and what do I get?

Notice the missing text for guns 1, 8 & 0. Notice that the scenery is almost completely invisible. It's not my brightness/contrast settings (I turned both up to ridiculous levels and it's still the same). I've tried literally every combination of setup settings, as well as windows' compatibility settings on the executable. Nothing works. I'm not sure if this is the "Half graphics" issue posted in the common problems section, as the link to an example is invalid. In any case, I do not have some cheap onboard video card.

Operating System: Windows XP Home w/ SP2
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500

Don't worry about the missing guns. You can turn them on/off in the options.

Try to reinstall the game. It appears as if your missing the texture file.

you could try downloading from another Mirror and completely reinstall..
Updating DX and GFX drivers is also a good start..

other then that I dunno :/

Its not the 'half graphics' btw :)
