I don't think we need to change this at all. I actually think it'd do more harm than good. It seems to me like it's always these fine small finesses that screws up the game.

I'd like it as an option, when you're weakened, and can't take another hit, it'd really pay off to know which bullets to dodge, or not.

Why is it that everyone who doesn't see a problem with an option deems it worthy of cramming in to the game?

I think this is only eye candy, and no, we don't always need more eye candy. Bullets are zinging about so fast that this serves little to no function. You should be avoiding bullets either way, regardless of color.

eye candy? Hardly, it would help extremely to tell which fire to pay attention to, where it's coming from, who's shooting, etc. You have no idea how many times team-colored bullets helped out in one UT2004 mod.

Maybe I do have an idea, and I think it's useless. I mean, if you need colors to tell you to pay attention to incoming fire, that's your call. Just laziness in my book though, and a minor discinction that would leave people looking at the bullets more often than their source.

I changed the bullet GFX to red, and then blue. Both look bad and they are hard to see/hard to look at in game

How fat do those bullets look in that scrnsht? its like shooting damn poles... good idea though... you can flame your teams when they n00b spray you by accident... very smart... S-M-R-T

I can hardly see them, why should they be colored?

Im not seeing why this matters, half the time ff is on, so u want to dodge the bullets period no matter what color they are.

Also thats going beyond soldat a little, id prefer a mod for that
