soldat has worked just fine for me...untill now...i played it yesterday, but today i got this massage "error initializing 3D hardware your hardware does not support directX 8. Be sure to install the latest video drivers. Now software will be used.."then the game starts....i request servers...works fine..then i go to server..game starts..BUT..i can only hear the noice of the game, but i only see black box....somebody please tell me what i need to install to make this game work again...

Basically, it's more than likely something to do with your graphics card. Changed anything recently?

no i avent changed anything...just played it day b4 and the very next day i got this problem....still havent fixed it =(

i use mostly window mode because i use messenger (coz i play with my friends)...
i installed latest directX...
i tried changing soldat settings...
my hardware acceleration is set to 100% (default)...
i have win98 se...

game does not work.....im playing wolfET now......

Change your colour settings to 16...worked for me.
