If you can remember, I made a map pack a while ago, this can be found here, [URL]
After taking some criticism and some tips on my mapping, I downloaded Polyworks and practised with it. Once I knew the basics I began on this map pack, I've made about 16 maps but some I didn't like because of gameplay, looks and waypointing issues. These are the four I decided on for this map pack, they are all waypointed, all have custom sceneries and all have been tested over and over.
I have information on each map, have tried to incorporate a story into each one and the download for the map pack (zip) will be at the end. Here they are:

story: Situated in the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Vietnam, the Vietnamese have begun work to build a bridge across a chasm that is in the way of their supply route. The American troops have knowledge of this and have been thrown into battle to prevent the bridge's construction.
Information: This is the map I have spent the most time on, more than any map I've ever made. The waypointing was difficult for me, being new to it, so it took a while to do. I made some custom sceneries (the vehicles were made from screenshots I took in Battlefield Vietnam as I had no internet connection), thanks to OutofOrder for letting me use his hut roof in my map as it gave it a Vietnam feel. Bots work pretty well (for my knowledge of waypointing) and I've patched bouncy edges (there are still a few).
You'll want a large number of people on this map because it's pretty big.

LiquidEnergy
Story:An underground factory is producing a new superweapon, that when used correctly, could be capable of destruction worse than anything we have ever seen. This factory has been located by enemy territories which are wanting to have this weapon in their own hands.
Information: This is a dark, smallish map which you'd want around 5 people on. I thought I'd try a theme I've never used in my maps for this and I'm very happy with the feel it has. Bonuses drop the energy beam in the middle, roll down the lower hill and into the pools of energy for a cool effect. Of course this is waypointed like all the others.

Story: At the border of two countries, there is a fight for land. The troops are getting tired of the long trek and have been fighting for months (a dumb excuse for no jets).
Information: I decided to remake Nomansland from my last map pack, there is no change to the layout, it has just been given a facelift and two tiny ledges for each team. Waypoints are fine, same map, looks different.

ValleyBase
Story: Basically, this map is based on a base based at the base of a valley, it's pretty basic. There are some very important files located in the base and it is under constant attack from the enemy.
Information: This is the oldest map of the four, so it doesn't have that 3D effect I learnt from Anna's tutorial. I still find it fun and it still looks nice. If you don't like cramped gameplay you probably won't like this, although it is a bit more open in the hills.
Well, that's probably one of the biggest posts you've ever seen on these forums but once I start typing I can't stop. Oh well, if you like what you see then,
DOWNLOAD HERE: [URL]
Extract the zip into your Soldat folder.
So you know, I'm just finishing off another map pack that has crazy maps in it, one is a bit like Bloodbath.
