You might noticed the differences in how each weapon fires and how it is used. Its easier to hard code the way their weapons rather than build a system where you can change them.

well, okay. I kind of expected this.

Well wat i really wanna do is change the chainsaw do a different weapon probably another pistol. So that theres variety. And also i want to take out the minigun and replace it with a different weapon maybe a colt m4a1.

yeah, there is a weapon editor nowadays, but you should ask someone else about that, since I have no experience nor knowledge about that.

yeah, but the weapon editor can't do anything different that what you could do with the text file yourself. You can change bullet style of some weapons but a lot of they have complications, for instance if you change the knife bullet style to a bullet it won't shoot. and if you make it nades, it's a suicide bomb. :D
