The first one is pretty cool, altough you could've messed around more with the background ( and if you want to surround your map with blackness, use black.bmp's instead of polygons, eats less memory that way ).

The second one... The towers looks pale, and the mid tree is a bit awkward. Also, the one-route thing could be a definate problem.

Second one looks amazing.

The first one looks pretty good, but I think the big stretched background makes it look a little bit ugly.

Nice maps. The first map is IMO lacking lianas. Nice water effect. The fort-graphics in the ends of the second map look kinda bland colorwise and so do the light-colored bridges; the huts more to the center, on the other islands, look better.

The first one looks like a HTF map that comes with soldat. I like the second one better, very unique.

ummm... the link to the first map is an extension-less file named "DM". Fix that, please.
