Sure, I added some crap lighting effects (put the same layer on top, set the blending mode to multiply, and the opacity to 50%), but why would I photoshop a ninja mask t-shirt thing on myself when I can just make one in real life in forty-five seconds?

What is it with all the makeup anyway?

Well lets do a simple comparison:

Ninjas:
-can fly
-are invisible
-have ninja stars
-have no defineable mass or volume (secret to fitting all those Asians in China)

Pirates:
-can swim
-are smelly
-have crappy swords

Clearly, pirates are no more special than normal humans. Ninjas are clearly better. It's math.
