Wow, all the polys look excellent, the bg and the scenery you applied to it are simply awesome. The thing is that the middle poly somehow doesn't look right compared to the rest of the map.

Nice map!

I really like the feel of this map...nice size, great sceneries. Are those supposed to be the aurora borealis with team colored lights? The effect is nice, but I think it would be better a bit more transluscant and more monochromatic...less red, more blues, greens, purples...but, that may just be opinion. Perhaps a few too many supports in the lower tunnels, but that's a minor issue. I love the lighting and structure building.

Nice job!

Cool Aurora, I agree that the middle poly looks a little out of place and maybe a little color change in the Aurora wouldn't go astray. Otherwise, great map and plays well.

Very well executed map. Wonderfull winter theme. The middle icy polys could have been more shaded, though. It's night, right? So they would be at least a little darker - to keep in line with the rest of the map.
That's a lovely aurora there, a big plus.
I haven't playtested this yet, but I am looking forward to.
That moonlight is also a nice touch. All in all, you make damn good maps with an attitude. If not a little demanding on the pcs ;) Some of them, at least ;)

I've put it on the USB server, but I've encountered a problem - when I queried for downloading the map from the server, it said it couldn't download "ctf_Winter_Spiri"... I had to change the map name, cutting out that final 't' and voila, it worked. I don't know whether that was just me or what, but anyway, I hope you don't mind?

I really enjoyed the feeling of this map when i tested it when the map contest was still up.
Those trees seem to be too bright, even for direct moonlight. And the ice center should be a bit darker in general.
Keep'em coming :)

Additionally, those nice little touches just enthrall me. I mean this little 3d like tree, that snowman, those nice cracks in the walls above the spawn, those pleasant roofs above the flags... I could go on and on. Uhm, well, I couldn't, because I'd run out of those nice touches, but you get the picture.

I'm really glad to see such coments)))
But I have no idia about why that problem with map name have appeared... I will try to select shorter names for my future maps...

Like it, the aurora borealis is a nice piece of scenery. However, the ice would need to be darker. But the top can stay the same because the mood would illuminat it, and the background for the inside the ice would need to be darker. But eveverything else is fine.
