I'm running an 10 person ctf server on linux (Ubuntu 5.10), 512Mb RAM, 2.4Ghz P4 with a 2Mb b/b connection (288kbps upstream, about 37kB). I've got system boiled down to xterminal, but the average ping for most is between 100-200, is there anything in the config that I can poke to optimise rates and the like? Just generally get a better response time for all my lovely little clients.

I'd lower your max ammount of players. 288 kbps upstream isn't capable of taking 10 players.

Edit: Read Michal's topic on lag for some stuff. By the way, City used to be my favorite map :D
