Oh man I started culinary school yesterday at the art institute.
Woo wee boy them first days sure do suck, full of lectures about the rules, syllabus and whatnot followed by those ice-breakers to introduce yourself to each other.
Tomorrow will be our first day in the kitchen and not in the classroom, we'll be preparing broths!
Boy am I excited 'bout broths :P

I use mostly a clever in the kitchen... Big heavy and sharp (like Kevin Smith :D).

My mom wanted me to go to culinary school, I could always fall back on cooking but I prefer to stay where my true passion is.

which culinary school are you going to?

I have negative culinary skill. :P That's cool, though. Good luck with that.

My job is starting to make me think about what else I might consider doing with the rest of my own life...

Well as you can see, I have plenty of things on my walls gathered from here and there.
Theres the eye test board, to the right of it is a drawing of 3 houses done by a 5 year old, followed by a framed siloutte of a cowboy against some mountains, a piece by my dear friend oben, behind my head is a calendar from a chinese resturant from the year of 03, next to that is my billion dollar bill (yeah im rich) and you can only see a side of it, but the final poster (at least in the pic) is a Martin Luther King Jr. poster that used to hang in a high school class room.

Its just your basic chef's knife, however I prefer a santoku (a japanese variation of the chef's knife). Its not a cleaver, cleavers are used to hack bonessssss.
