i got this really cool pic and wanted to know where it might have come from? i had it for a few months and dont remember where i saw it, any clue what website it was from?

Look at the filename... That might give a few valuable hints.

I saw two other gifs that were just like that, only they involve a bunny and a stick figure.

I checked 4chan and got nada. Lots of hentai and porn, but no animated gifs similar to the one silver's found.

Google should make a real image search. You would upload the image, and then it would scan the web for all pictures of the same type, dimensions, and filesize. Then it rescale each of those images to 2x2 pixels, and compare the exact RGB color of each of the 4 pixels to the rescaled original. Those that match exactly will displayed. The result should be a page or so of pictures that could be equal to the original. For more accuracy, you would use higher resolutions than 2x2. You could compare the list of matching 2x2s and then compare those again as 4x4, and continue until you have 1 image.

This could be modified to find pictures that are similar but are resized or recolored, although recoloration would be far more complicated. Or maybe you could find the checksum of them somehow, although you could only find the exact image.

This would be doable and cool. Maybe I should do it.
