My freind found this image on google...but a gold plated Ak. Im not sure if some terrorist got bored and found some gold and pimped his Ak or something but the gold on it looks like paint, also note in the top right corner there is something (it looks like) that says "noob" or noop Im not sure but its a weird image.

Could this possibly be true?

i think so its possible... i remember in the movie ''lord of war'' there was a nigga who actually had a gold AK.
but maybe its just a movie... but isnt gold too soft metal to be used in guns?

Gold spray paint. Real gold would break, so even if that was gold, 80% of it would be titanium or some other metal to keep it from falling apart.

No, no. Look at the way he's holding it. If it were that heavy I think he'd be holding a bit differently...

Saddam and some other people pimped out their weapons with gold just because they could.
And because it's a Kalashnikov in a desert situation doesn't mean it belongs to a terrorist.

If that gun were cast from pure gold it would be too heavy for that guy to hold by his fingertips. Gold is one of the highest density minerals around, and is also too soft and to be of any use. Now, if it's gold plated that's another matter. But pure gold AK would just be heavy and too sory to be usefull.

It looks like paint or plastic.

It's most likely plated or gilded, and it's not like they use it to shoot or anything. It's just a decorative peice.

Woah, I have the exact same windchime as the one in the picture. It's battery powered and the birds in the cage chirp when wind blows.

Gold plated guns look gaudy and ugly imo. So do silver guns. When I look at a gun I like to see dark metal and maybe some wood. Especially on the AK.
