In Sin City by Frank Miller, there is a scene where Hartigan played by Bruce Willis, gets ambushed by a squadron of irish mercenaries, hired by some dark enemies. Hartigan is driving in his automobile to some secluded area. He climbs out of his car and observes his surroundings. It's dark and raining. Suddenly, a shot pierces Hartigan's chest. He collapses to the ground and lays still. His attackers emerge from their hiding spots. An irish mercenary sporting a Steyr AUG bullpup emerges out of the bush.

I had something much like this happen in a normal game of Soldat. I had selected a Steyr AUG as my primary weapon and a socom handgun as my secondary weapon. The game was realistic and it was a survival capture the flag. The map was Laos. I charged in with my team and they sprayed their assault rifles across the map. The enemy answered back with sprays of their own. Two shots from a Barret M82A1 sliced through the sky. One pierced my running squadmate in front of me, making him collapse to the ground with blood spraying on me. The second shot nearly killed me but I collapse to a crawl and instead, it makes the head of a unsuspecting teammate in back of me pop off with blood trailing behind it. The first enemy charges. The two teammates in front of me easily kill him. One teammate has a Ruger 77 and another teammate has a MP5. They slay right on the spot. Suddenly, I watch a grenade get flung out from the side of the screen. It slams into my teammate with the MP5 and instantly kills him, making his body flop back. My other teammate with a Ruger 77 gets severely injured so he starts backing up. Suddenly, I watch a spray of unmerciful bullets slam into his bloodied body making him collapse to the ground, obviously dead. It's time for me to take on these people who killed my teammates. I quickly jump up a short incline from a hill and then jump up another short incline from a hill. I drop to a low crouch and hide amongst the bushes. I can hardly see myself, let alone the enemy seeing me. I see my teammate running below me with his AK-74 blazing. I see him flop the ground, slain. It's my turn to return the favor to these unsuspecting soldiers. The first enemy pops into view, out from under the cover the incline I was crouched on. I let out shorts bursts from my trusty Steyr AUG. Bullets pierce into his neck and body and some meet the ground. I finish him off with a single round. The next soldier, now suspecting something, slowly starts creeping out from the cover of the incline, his back facing me. I decide to switch to semi-automatic. I pump a few rounds into his head and body and he dies. Suddenly, shots ring out behind me. Some penetrate my back and others hit the ground behind me. I spin around and unleash my Steyr AUG's unforgiving firepower. All of the rounds slam into my attacker and demolish him completely. However, because of this distraction, an enemy soldier surpasses the territory I was guarding. All of my teammates have been killed. I am the only one left. There are two enemies. One is at my base, about the capture my flag. The other is escorting him. I quickly hide under a cliff overhang and wait in bushes. As I see the two enemies hope off the cliff above me and land on the ground in front of me, I stalk them. I end the escort's life without mercy by firing fullblast at his head a few feet behind him, causing the flag runner to swing around to face the attacker. Before he can react, I unleash the carnage of my Steyr AUG and quickly end his life. I save the flag before the game is won.

Nice imagery, you should write a book. The next best Michael Crichton!

Nicely written. Just try to paragraph a bit more and use a bigger font than that since it's a bit hard to read like that.

There are very few topics that in my opinion are worth reading in this section of the forum, this counts as one of them ;) Good job, I enjoy when people think out there stories instead of declaring how he smeared their bodies over the map with his l33t skills and steyr aug
