I can't make a dedicated server no matter what i try.
Nobody can connect to it. Ive read all the tutorial things and i just dont get it. I use the soldatadmin and server thing and i cant find it in the lobby. I use the built in soldat one and in the lobby it says theres no map and 255/20 players... HELP

Please provide us with the following:
OS the server runs on.
Are you using the standalone dedicated, or the one built into the client?
Are you behind any software firewalls?Are you behind any hardware firewalls? (eg: router) if so, what brand/model?
What version of the dedicated server are you using?
Does the console show any error messages? If so, what are they?
Can you connect to yourself via localhost (127.0.0.1)?
If using the standalone dedicated server, did you unzip it to a DIFFERENT directory than the soldat client?

Well lets see,I tried both dedicated ones but i can connect to myself with the built in one...
No errors... Standalones in my soldat directory... Server for 1.3.1. Version249 i guess...
I tried disabling firewalls(I have norton too)... Telus wireless d-link adsl router...

Your not meant to install the server 2.4.9 into your Soldat game directory... ever...

WEll its in a different place now i still dont see it in the lobby or on local... i can connect to myself tho through 127.0.0.1
Btw whats the lobbys ip?
