I have a soldat dedicated server running on debian linux.
Everything works.
But I need to know if I should use some kind of program to make sure the server doesn't crash, and if it does to restart it.
It hasn't crashed yet and I havent had to restart it. Its been running nonstop for almost a day 1/2 now.

And how often and why does the soldat server crash?

http://server.selfkill.com restarts their servers via cronjob daily :)
the point is not that they crash afer a long time of running, but the use more and more resources and get more instable.

unstable*

Well, there are still some issues with map downloading but that's mostly in Windows. I dont think servers running on Linux crash that often.

^^ Click there, its a program that monitors your server and restarts it when it crashes. (For Linux)
