NO NO NO NO NO, that's the old-fashioned way!

1) Dump the mod folder into the "Mods" folder in your Soldat directory.
2) Open Notepad
3) Type in:

Soldat.exe -x

4) change "x" to the name of the mod folder
5) Save as "Mod.bat"
6) .bat - you need this file extension! On the Save window, change to "All Files," then save it as a .bat

I don't know how to clarify the last step, i suck at explaining things.

Let me try Eagles.

1 : Move the mod into the \Soldat\Mods\ folder, so that the picture for the Desert Eagles would be in this folder:

\Soldat\Mods\whatever_the_mod_folder_is_called\Interface-gfx\Guns\1.bmp

2 : Go to your start menu and press Run.

3 : Type in Notepad and press enter.

4 : In the notepad window, type

Soldat.exe -mod whatever_the_mod_folder_is_called

5 : Press Ctrl-S.

6 : Under files of type, select All Files.

7 : Under the name box, type

coolmod.bat

8 : Before you save, make sure you are in the Soldat directory (the one with folders like Anims, Bots, and Maps inside).

9 : Press save.

10 : Open up the Soldat folder and run coolmod.bat which should launch Soldat with the mod.
