Hi, i have searched through the forum and failed to find any mention to this problem. I have been playing soldat for a while and everything was fine untill suddenly this problem started to occur:

I turn soldat on and start playing. Everything seems fine, i have the graphics and sound working fine and all. Then, usually after a minute or so playing, my soldat hangs. Sometimes it simply freezes everything and stop responding, sometimes the monitor goes blank and the No Signal light turns on. This is very weird as the only solution I have is to actually reset the computer.

My computer:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 512mb RAM. ATI Radeon 9800 pro.

I am currently using Windows 98, and the last catalyst available for this platform.

Please, help me.

1) make sure your video drivers are up to date (check the ATI website)
2) make sure your graphics card and processor are not overheating

I too suffer from this problem. I'm pretty sure my video drivers ar up to date. AS for overheating.. hmm.. How can you stop this? Fixing the fans? And if this was the case then wouldn't it happen while not playing soldat also? ;Q
