How many pixels X pixels each gun needs to be? I've seen many guns 54x16 pixels and 58x16 pixels. I don't know if it really matters.
I want to try to make my first weapon, but I need to know if it matters the size.

i use 50 x 20 in my mods. then i crop the useless crap away.
(starting size)

weapon gfx are relatively smaller: 20 x 10. and crop at the end.
(starting size)
be careful not to make ur weapon gfx too big. its really easy to overdose those small pics.

Ok, I could put my weapon to the game, but while my Soldat used it, it looked weird. When I looked to the right it looked the gun, then I target left and then it appeared the other weapon. I need to replace more stuff I guess.

yea, there's 2 files for the weapon istelf, depending on the default gun, there's multiple images for the clip, and for neraly all there's a bullet, a bullet casing and a flash. Just mess around, it's fun and informative, best way to get into modding soldat.

i remember i was doing that in the beginning : P

i made a huge red block that law would shoot, it looked funny.
and also my minigun test with making a really big muzzle flash (10x bigger from original)

ah the days... : )

ontopic: i usually click on the text rather then the gun, that way ill get my weapon for sure.
