What Soldat Position Do You Mostly Play?

1. Attacker / Rusher - You run in to grab the flag/kill as many people as you can before you die(Deaglers.).
2. Defensive Attack - You attack, but your main objective is to live. (AKA Ruger Users ;))
3. Defender - You camp / Wait near your flag for people to come and die.
4. Camper - You hide in bushes/anywhere just to kill people for the sake of defense.
5. Pure Crazy F**K - You're so random with attacks that you cant answer this simple question.


If i have left any out just post.

I'm a rusher, but enjoy a few defensive attacks.

I'm a cross between rusher and defender... If I play Soldat for fun I'm a rusher, if I'm playing it for 'winning' and stuff I'm a defender

I like to switch between them now then, one time I just rush like crazy, the other time I'm more carefull or just camp somewhere.
Normally though I play like Defensive Attack.

I'm the same with Swazo. Just randomly attack, no ambitions at times when attack. I only fall back when I attack someone mid-map.

Neither. I'm usually a midfielder kind of guy, if my teammate dies during the attack, I halt and wait for him to respawn while I keep off enemies with random attacks. Otherwise I always try to surprise the enemy by going on an unexpected route, sometimes getting my foes in the back.

I'm the kinda guys who awaits the outcome of the situation. I'm the assisting player, you know? If there's pronblem high, I go help out there and stuff. I'm really all over the place. I think soldat's way funnier if you stay alive, due to just get alot of kills. I'd rather have a score on 10 - 2 than 100-50!

IM 5. With Steyr AUG. and a handful of nades. then I resort to numero 1.

No other choice for a sawer than 1/5. Within a minute of the match starting I've got 5x as many deaths as everyone but 5x as many kills as them. I just kill kill kill and die die die. U13 should have a kills-per-minute stat. I think I'd be pretty high up in there.

Here's cool information!

CTF shouldn't have defenders. CTF shouldn't have attackers. CTF shouldn't have campers. CTF shouldn't have *insert stupid role here*. CTF should have people attacking in the main route or the alternative route (laos low, voland top etc). Defending is a stupid tactic because when you attack, you can simply not let people past you. And if you die, you'll have time to spawn before they reach your base unless it's survival. Other than that, you should play according to the situation.

I'm a versatile player, I play anywhere and with many guns, mostly Steyr/M79/Barret. I usually play main route though.

I'm a rusher or a defender depending on mood.

Minimier-either 1 or 5

I normaly charge in, but somtimes I might ambush someone with my camouflage.

The only time when I do any real camping is if its a sniper V sniper match, maybe becaue ive watched 'Enemy At The Gates' too many times :P

I like to be the tanker and rush ahead most of the time.

i am a stratiegist, i wait for majors to run out like the little meatsheilds they are and kill everyone.

im a 3-4. I like to move closer to the enemy camp through stealth and sniping, but my main objective is to keep home base safe.

In a public game, I'm 1
In an R/S game, I'm 2
In a Clan Match, I perform as what I would call "The Blitz Guy" using a shotgun to hit them in the face then continue running while my support fire finishes them off with Auto, or if I'm the auto, I become the support/defender.

1 if it's an inf or CTF game
2 if it's a Realistic inf or CTF game (sometimes 1 if there's enough defenders)
5 on most deathmatch servers

I'm usually an Attacker / Rusher. I'll go in usually with a shotgun, HK MP5, or AK-74, and charge in (on CTF) towards the flag to weaken the opposing team for my teammates to finish them off, and try to get the flag if I don't die XD. But I usually play DM, so I usually run-and-gun with auto fire. I love open fire-fights =D. Sometimes I'm #5, usually when I set up my own game, and use a 'Rambo MP5' as I call it (MP HK5 that shoots flaming Rambo arrows), or the 'Ak-Shotgun' (AK-74 that shoots shotgun shells obviously). 'Tis fun =D.

I adapt after the situation.

When the team is all hell bent on attacking and not paying verry atention to the base, i defend. if its the other way i attack.

Sometimes i also patroll the various paths after enemies (to kill) EFC (to kill again) and ffc (to cover and report to the base)...

Sometimes i act as a decoy to lure snipers/campers out, so my mates can deal with him.

And when i have the flag an the returning progress is going nowhere, ill give the flag away to a mate and bring it back myself...

And so on!

Cross between 1 and 2 if its inf or ctf.
1 if its deathmatch

#2 - I play r/s so either way I try to stay alive, but still do something to help the team.

Mostly defense at base or mid-map, occasionally I'll attack if I feel like it.

I take the doggy style. (no seriously now.. I'm surprised nobody has said this already).

And before anyone says "That's not a soldat position"... one of the submitted soldat vids says otherwise :P (I think it's fist pwnage... or the knife one). :D

Actually... I like to rush constantly.. just go go go non-stop most of the time... I'll do my share of defending if everyone else is rushing.

I really dont have a set position, but most of the time my pattern in ctf or inf is join the initial rush at the flag, once I die or cap I become a barretard for a life, then i defend for a life, then after that its just pure crazy F**K.
if this was about S3X, then i would have nothing to say, because I have yet to experience S3X, because i am only 12. :( 12 yr olds are people need to get some too you know!

I'm mainly a insane rusher (KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE), but sometimes I like to hide in a bush and blast incoming guys. I love the element of surprise.

I guess i'm a rusher but it also depends on the map..
But campers = n00bs/l4mers in my opinion.

It takes both fun and speed from the game,
I more like rushing teams with 8 ppl form each side.

i'm a ninja, which means i basically will do anything to win (except spawn camping), though my favorite tactic is to hide behind something, and peg people with my m79 :P

This is how I play as well. Anyone who can't adapt to what's currently going on in the game is an idiot and can infuriate me at times. You'll have to return, defend, rush, capture, and assist at different times depending on how the game plays out. The biggest problem I have with most players is they just don't know how to react and respond.

I am a combination of 1,2 and 3.

Id have to go with number 5, dont know what im going to do when i get mad, one minute snipe then next SAWED.

Kind of a camper/rusher...
Sometimes I camp for 30 seconds or so, and my favorite weapons are the deagles, the ruger, and the mp5...
I don't always go into a crazy killing rush, I usually just wander around.

Usually the horizontal position (dead).

I choose the weapons M249 and Knife
1, attack, knife throw, one guy dead...
2, M249 galore, x people dead
3, plant grenades at spawn
4, getting the freakin flag and escape!1 :Æ

i use FN or ruger, and i never cap flag, i either charge with my teammates and give them support untill we reach the outside of enemy base, then i'll probably kill enemies there and wait for another teammate to capture the flag and escort him back.

or i defend, people say defending is useless, but that's not true, because you can heal after every enemy you kill. because of that, i always have like no death in every game :)

although, and i'm sure you all do this, i would change my playing style once a while you know? to keep it fresh.

I love defending but most of the time i have to attack cause in public servers if one person starts defending other people join for some reason

Well, i run towards the enemys flag. If i see an enemy before i get to the center and i (somehow =D) dont kill him, then i turn around and chase him to defend the flag. If i go past center and i see an enemy i try and kill him but wont chase him. And if im in a clan war and i choose a route and encounter an enemy who i disperse of, i take the next opportunity to change my course in order to evade any reinforcements that the dead enemy sends.

For some reason i find myself considering what the enemy is thinking, like 'Oh man, theres a guy low! I'd better go get rid of him. Hmmm...where the hell is he??'

M249??? Where in Soldat did you find one of those laying around?

m249 is a FN mini, at least they're the same kind of weapon, heavy supporting machine guns.

I'd say I'm a bit twist beween totally random and defensive rusher. If i actually play with something that reminds you of tactics I'll stay in the middle and kill as much as possible. But sometimes I do stupid stuff and get myself killed. An example of stupid stuff would be to declare vendetta on a irritating noob/barrettard/m79user and hunt him down regardless of my own well being.

Usually when I try to help the people I kall teammates it ends with me taking a bullet instead of them -.-. Teammembers, who need em...

With my duo duets of doom, and thy happy dagger in my hands, every moving thing that crosses me is DEAD. Takes skill(or just plain freaking lucky) to rush in, and make it out unharmed. Just got to have the right tools.

I like to attack from behind, when they least expect it, shuving gernades down their ass's and spraying with my deagles and socom in a desperate kind of way, then run and eat as many meds as possible grab the flag and cap.

yea..well i don't like sticking stuff to guy's asses...just my opinion.
