Some sort of buddy list or IM feature.
Not even a "soldat" messenger thing...maybe what Lineage II does, they have msn messenger available THROUGH their game...

I use msn, but i dont have many contacts from around here.

My bro however, who has been happily recruited into a clan, so he has a plenty of soldat contacts now.. :P

the whole point is NOT having to minimize the game

There is no need to minimize already, alt-tab will do the trick.

alt tab will minimise unless you are using soldat with windowed mode. And I agree this would be useful especially if you are in the middle of the game, because whenever I alt tab it takes ages with soldat.
