Okay, I looked up the stuff about the internal Ip server and stuff like that, but I haven't been able to get anyone to log onto my game. Yesterday, I had people get onto my games but today, not even my friends could find my game. And I'm a little confused on lobby servers that i can put my game in. Can i have some help?

You have to open up the ports.
For Default Ports:
23073 TCP-UDP
23083 UDP

Stuff happens. Don't have bots etc. Make the game like games you'd join.

Okay...Okay, I guess. But wait, the last time I had a server I had like 5 bots and like 10 people joined before I got rid of the bots. My dad forwarded the ports too, but still, no one joins.

OKay, I think I figured out something. I tried forwarding my game to a different port and I played for a while. When I got out, I saw my own game and everything. But, when I tried to join, I couldn't(obviously) I looked at the stats and it said the ping was unknown(???) I tried going to other games with pings unknown and I couldn't join them either. So, my real question is, what is ping? And what can I do to get my server running?

Ping is the time it takes for data from your computer to get to the server

And ping '???' is a common symptom of not having your ports configured correctly.
Make sure 23073 is UDP & TCP and 23083 TCP. Also make sure it is forwarding to your computer, and not a different one in the network.
It'll only work when your ports are forwarded properly, we can't help you much on that as it depends from router to router how it has to be done.
Though if you manage to find out which model you have, http://www.portforward.com/ (as mar mentioned) offers some help on how to forward ports on different router models. Check it out
