I really like the shading technique there, it makes the rocks look... rocky.
Tip: If there are trees in the background, they are usually smaller than the trees in the foreground.
Nice little map.

You've got the visuals done very well, this map is great: my only concern is that the circular route is a bit 'junky', which can be bad for gameplay ( becase combat would neglect some parts of the map easily ).

Yeah it's a nice map, although the shaded trees in the background ought to be smaller.
Otherwise the polygons are nicely used there and there's this unique atmosphere too...
Good job, keep it up!
