my soldat doesn´t work on a win 2000 system... every time i start the game an errormessage appears..... some data from the system32 isnt avalaible. what shall i do?

1) don't highlight the "important" parts of your message in red. Red contrasts horribly on this background color and is hard to read, especially on LCDs.
2) can you please give us the exact error message
3) do you have the latest version of directx installed?

does your video card support DirectX 8?
I had a laptop with Win2000 installed (Toshiba Tecra 8000 was the laptop) and it always said that "Your Video Card Does Not Support DirectX 8, Software will now be used" then it just crashed..
Solution? Buy a decent Video Card...

EDIT: The Win32 file missing is the DLL for DirectX8. Either Re-install Directx..or if that don't work, buy a new Video Card)

it is the pc of my girlfriend and she likes soldat;) her pc is new(except the system but we want to let it on the harddrive ^^) i dont know if the latet version of directX is installed but i will look at this later.

i will also give a exact error message
