can someone plz tell me how to mod guns? jus the stats? and maybe looks if its not too hard. plz tell me exact folders and how to backup exactly and stuff. im pretty retarded when it comes to modding.

weapons.ini in your soldat folder. do a search you will find more topics on this forum.

so do i need to backup or what? i dont get it (not to be a jerk) but when i say im retarded i mean it. like i have no idea how to do it, like step by step is how i roll. but ty that might cover it.

you should copy it if u want a backup, however I think soldat will make one if u just delete the file entirely. Anyway open up the file and read the infomration in there , its kind of self explanatory. Edit the numbers and just see what u get...its pretty fun so its not like futzing around will lose ur interest.

You can't edit the gun stats, the game either won't let you play or they just fire normally. I learned that the hard way...

Yes it can be done. But it will only affect your own server etc..

So if someone joins ur server they will have the mod to and so on...
