what in the world does gun dmg do? it says its not relivent, then why put it in the game!!! plz help ma out

It combines with Speed, which is quite variable. Even if Damage=0, if a projectile is flying at all it will injure an enemy, but because Damage=0 it will hurt very little. Try setting Damage to 1000 and Damage to 10 for the D'Eagles, fire at a friendly bot with Friendly Fire enabled, and observe the difference.

Power is very hard to manage with explosives if you're trying to make ,for example, the LAW not kill in one hit; they seem to have a built-in secondary Power value that also alters with Speed, like Speed...
