Norway (and outside US) domain registration?

I'm in the US and would like to register a .no domain (you can probably guess why :p ). The sites I found in an admitedly brief search is surprisingly expensive:

http://www.nethut.no
http://www.marcaria.com

Are $200+ domain registrations the norm outside the US? I figured I'd take a shot if anyone reads these forums from Norway. It's quite a shock to someone used to $8 GoDaddy registrations and is a good bit disappointing. Are there any foreign cheap domain registration sites such as GoDaddy available?

No idea about Norway domains. But UK ones are equally as cheap.

I looked at a few domain "sellers", most of them requierd one to be a large bussiness to register a .no domain..

I cant find any restrictions like that on http://www.tbt.no/ tho.. U could check it out (NB! i found this on google so dunno how reliable they are)

I also found www.fastname.no but the site was extremely slow (like 10min load on main page) so I havent been able to check it out..
page working and same requierment as I mentioned at the start

Pages are in norwegian and currency is NOK on the calculations..

I'll edit if I find any more..

Edit1:
I reckon U understand norwegian as the page U linked to is in norwegian, on fastname there was a comment to the "firm" requierment.

"Firma?"

"Ja" betyr at det kreves dokumentasjon på at domenenavnet eies av et firma/privatperson som er lokalt tilknyttet det bestemte landet.

Mr. Domino, I can't guess why you want a .no domain.
What is the domain name you want that goes with .no?
If you don't trust the forums, could you pm me? I'm curious :)

Say what? :^) Sorry, I don't speak Norwaylish, and all the sites I've seen state that you either have to be a resident of the country but are willing to get around that restriction (with a higher fee of course). That's understandable, but $200-300US annual for a domain is too steep for me. I do appreciate the help though. Any idea what is it so high? Aren't direct, really fast connections to the Internet available at a really cheap price there?

hehe ok, the part I thought you were able to read, basicly means that you have ot document that you are eighter the owner of a firm in norway, or that you are a norwegian citizen. I dont know why the prices are so outragouse for non norwegians :/

For internet prices:
20000/1200 Kbps costs like $79 a month.
