Yeah uh, my SOLDAT game is in wide screen so part of the left and right side is cut off. Its not really a problem but its really annoying. Is there anything wrong with it?

It's not in widescreen. Your monitor doesn't handle the frequency (hz) well for the resolution that Soldat plays in.
It's an issue with old CRT monitors.
Either:
1. Select a different frequency for your resolution.
2. Select a different resolution for your system. You cannot adjust Soldat's resolution, but you may find a resolution with a similar frequency to Soldat's.
3. Adjust your monitor's display width settings after starting Soldat.
4. Play in Windowed mode.

numbers 1 and 2 that Lapis suggested will not do anything to help this. Skip directly to 3 or 4

They will if his monitor is considerably ancient. Some pairs of video cards/monitors display different frequencies at different widths/heights.
To play in windowed mode, browse to your Soldat folder (usually C:\Soldat) and run config.exe. Uncheck the "Fullscreen" option.
Or, within the Soldat folder on your start menu is an option to run Soldat Setup/Config.
