ok everyone, im extremely new to making mods and i know absouotely nothing about making mods so how do I start and do I use Interface Maker? lol im sorry if im sounding stupid but I have no idea

you really dont need interface maker... you can use paint or something like that to edit the picture files.

suppose you want to edit ak-74.bmp files, it must go to the weapons-gfx folder, where the ak-74.bmp file is, to change the look of the ak-74.

yeh but I dont want to replace, oh this is too confusing!
I want to make a speerate folder, and how do I make the whole mod put together and stuff.

Put your edited files into new folders that correspond to the original folders. (gostex-gfx would be gostex-gfx but made new and not in the soldat directory.) Zip all the folders and then you'll have a purdy lil mod package.

i think this should be told to him in MSN or AIM or something, it would be way easier to explain it then instead of taking up space here
