what happen to all the modders out there.

i dont see much of new mods coming out lately.

The problem is the game is extremely unmoddable. Gfx/sfx is all... and though my mod, and others turned out well, it just doens't give you the best possible results.

It would be nice if there was a little INI file that allowed us to change gun names, strengths and such. Nothing big, just enough to pump a bit more interest into mod making.

Yeah, that would make MODing alot more complete and kEwL... anyways there would be ppl that would abuse from weapon strengh.

EXACTLY! There should be a way of editing the actual rules of the game! It would make modders more creative with their stuff.

hell yeah, we need modded servers that will affect everyone in the server so everyone can have the same mod going on, and if its like that we wont need to install and make backups of all the mods we have whenever we wanna switch one mod out and put another in, so it would be like server-side hosting of a mod

then the client has to download them when they join....then this is like map downloading...

no. INI dl;ing would go so fast you wouldn't even notice.

Well first rule is it has to be COMPLETE. Nothing like a crappy little gfx mod. SFX too. Say... why dont we get like a big GROUP of people together... Project Ultimate Soldat- The best of the best :-D

Surely making an INI file that changed weapon strengths, ranges, muzzle flash location (I hate it when you draw a gun and it fires from the middle :@), rounds per second, amount of shots carried wouldn't be that hard.

I can help in whatever way you guys want, this sounds like a grea idea, I dont know what I could do, but ill work at it whatever it is.

Hey, I have a mod i made cus i was getting sick of plain old soldat!, its called the PLASMA MOD, you shoot plasma and have plasma nades and rail gun type things!And i have created a RL for rambo match(The fire bow) Here
