grenades vs cluster grenades

which one do you like best, and why?

with a cluster you can make a double easily, and hardly with a simple nade. they're both good, but depending on the situation clusters can be way more devastating or useless (like when you're flying. it should be added that if a whole cluster hits another players explodes, not only when it touchs the ground.)

Yea, depends on situation. I don't like it how clusters explode when they hit a wall. Hitting people in mid-air with nades is cool!

When flying (especially with slow loading weapons like the barret or m79) the normal grenades are much more useful. I also prefer them when running underground (tunnel style), and just dropping some when someone's following me... that usually slows them down a bit. When attacking someone on the ground (or more than one person), the clusters cause a lot more damage :D

Clusters are useless weapons, unless of course you are in a big mosh pit or something. When there is a hoard of people, they are awesome. You can easily rack up some kills. But you can't use them to fight in mid air, as I usually do. You can't "plant" them for someone to run over (someone following you). They are just too powerful, and they are hard to aim at a specific target with. Very uncontrollable....

I love to make some "aerial attacks" with cluster nades, but of course i have to aim to a group of 3 or more players. I like much more the explosion style of the cluster but (at least for me) the usual nades are more efficient and handy.

They both have their advantages and disadvantages depends on the situation you are in.

I like dumping a cluster at one of the bases in CTF when everyones trying to get the flag. Very satisfactory but not much good if FFs on.

definatley clusters, mass descruction kicks ass.

I prefer normal nades, they fit me more, I fly alot, and I also want to be assured that the enemy dies when hes naded, clusters dont always guarantee a kill......

clusters are not used as much since they are

ya thats tru, but grenades has less chance of getting double or even just one...

Ummm, not really, normal nades kill when they hit the feet and head. But clusters have more chance of getting a double if you do, normals dont have that much to kill more than 1 soldat in 1 nade, while clusters dont give you a guaranteed kill everytime, even if they hit him whith most clusters......

I find it much easier to kill with regular ones. Clusters are difficult :\ I hardly ever kill with them.

Clusters suck ass, they never [:-censored]ing kill anyone... I can kill more people with 5 grenades then with 3 clusters. You should be able to carry the same amount of both, otherwise clusters are just a waste of time.

I don't think I could name a favourite... they're both really handy as suppression tools.
You can fight with clusters in the air though, to an extent. Don't forget you can explode them on the roof to shower your opponent (probably knocking them to the ground).

Dont cluster Grenades only explode when they hit ground? and normal ones explode when they hit players?

Hmm cluster grenades also explode on players, hehe nice effects.
Like the cluster more nice napalm strike with ctf when you got a base full of enemy players, nice nade war hehe. Got a lot of kills with cluster nades
