My server runs fine for about 5-10 minutes...The ping is really good for everyone who plays. They got average pings of 33-133 (people on cable). Everything runs fine until about 5 minutes into it, when the server just freezes. Of course, when this happens, everyone gets connection problems. Everything else runs fine on the pc. I can open other games, I can talk on MSN or AIM or whatever. I just can't open up or view the server console...

I've tried various setups-leaving MSN on, AIM on, Kazaa on, etc. I've tried shutting off specific things. I'm also behind a router that I've gotten around.

This didn't happen when 1.1.3 was first released, and I don't think I have done anything to make it function like this. This may be an easy fix, but I searched the forums and found nothing like this.

I am running Windows XP home with a 1.8 Ghz Athlon XP (go AMD! I invest in them!) and 512 MB RAM....Like I have said, I can run other applications, so it is not a matter of low memory...The computer is only using about 4% of its horsepower. I just don't understand why it freezes like this! The game doesn't freeze, just the dedicated console.

Any help would be very much appreciated, as I have been told my server is pretty good. I would like to get back to hosting soon...

sounds like a problem with your tcp/ip stack and buffer over runs. head over to http://www.speedguide.net and check out the speed tweaks and fixes. some times the patches they offer will resolve these type issues.
