Hey all, not going to bore you with useless details. I'll tell ya this--I looked at a copy of ctf_kampf the whole time I worked on this. Hopefully you like it. I love it very much...:)

hmm...I installed it...putted the cactus.bmp in the 'Scenery-gfx' folder...and the *.pms file in 'Maps' folder...like I always do..for installing a map...
But now i'v got an error...for ctf_Desert...

The same happens for me, if I place the cactus.bmp in the scenery-gfx folder. BUT if I remove it again and try the map.. everything works fine.
So.. umm just delete cactus.bmp and it should work, SpecialK.
About the map itself: Good job enjoy :)
but there are a couple of bouncy polygons. Enjoyincubus, just walk over the map without any jumping at all and you'll see what I mean. Especially the blue flag area and the plateau above the red flag.. *bounce*
if you don't find it, I'll make some screenies with red circles to show you :)
(Huh, since I'm in the map pack committee.. I think your map gets in <:P)

I gotta fix some stuff, and I need to make some waypoints...then maybe it can make the Map Pack...what do you guys think about it being in the pack?
Personally (my opinion my be slightly biased...) I believe it's better than most ctf maps that have been released recently...

think so, too. but give it a different name. "desert" just remembers me at yellow sand and not a dark rock. look for boosta's hopping problem. this plays on your nerves when you run in soldat.
