how about a server option to stop people from unbalancing the teams (in numbers ).So lets say its TDM and the teams are:
blue-3, red-2, green-2, yellow-1

when someone new joins they cant join blue they have to join the other 3 teams.But they dont have to join yellow.Because I know when I play sometimes I like playing 1vsAll.Same would go for people already playing, the 2 people from red cant join blue.

I just dont like when 4 people switch teams and join the team with the most points and the teams turn into 7-1-2-1

If I told you that there is an option called Balance Teams, would that do?
Go to the Options tab and mark the box next to 'Balance Teams'.

balance team only work for CTF i think...

It doesnt work in TDM, I tried it before I posted.I had 6-1-1-1 then I joined red with the 6 players, then I restarted and joined blue with 1 player then switch teams to red with 6 players.

No i like it if am alone on the team and theyre like 3 of them , muchos better

like I said they wouldnt have to join your team, but its not fair for the other 2 teams with 2 people when blue has 7 players.

I tried it only yesterday on TDM.
It was 1 all, and I couldn't change it to 2-1-1.

I had to reconnect to the server and then I was able to change the team.
Yeah, it definitely needs fixing.
