Still working on shading and making it flow better. I went for a more sharp edged look kinda like cambodia like you guys suggested. Anywho here is a rough version screen

Yeah, keep to symmetry in CTF maps. And most volcanoes tend to have open tops....maybe put some spawn points dropping in on parachute.

what color background should I use?

i dont like the top part now, it just doesnt go with the lower part for some reason, background color shouldt give you a headache after you look at it for 5 min...
