All my music files are WMA cause I copy my cd's using windows media player and I lag with Winamp or Windows media Player running. Or ifanyone could suggest a CD copier that copies into mp3 and that copies at 192kps, point it this way please :)

Audiograbber should do the job.
Otherwise, check www.downloads.com out. Search for "rip mp3" or something like that.

any transcoding from one format to another entails quite a considerable loss of quality. If your ears are up to it then i'd suggest u find a player that uses less resources.

my suggestion would be to use http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm to convert your .wmas to variable bitrate OGG format, and play them with winamp. winamp seems to have lots of troubles here with .wma files, sometimes it just crashes. OGG is my favorite format and it can reproduce the sound the best way, imho (i'm a musician/composer and i did some personal tests). it's the best quality-size ratio methinks
