Ok... I just completed my D-Day map for infiltration... Its 70% done , the other 20% are ur sugestions and coments and the other 10% are smothening and adding somemore scenary to the map... I kinda copyed teh D-Day from real life so the colors are very clsy but WW2... [^]
The bot waypoints will be done another day.. Im sleepy now [:D]

Tell me whats on ur thuths and anything i should add or erase...

ANy sugestions ? Im planing to barbwire the front end of the bunker so it will kill u instantly if u tuch the wall..
Here is a dilema ! Should i put in a predator bonus??? I rather not... Or should i ?
And... The "water" , I cant figure out how to make it a litle redish... For a blood afect..
And should I put more obstaclec on the surface ?

This map is a NO MINIGUN map.. Beacaouse a minigun can bust u over the bunker and the red team has a too easy job..

It looks quite good.

I think that you should make the spawn points by the boats not so high so that you use the paracute because that is just stupid, I like the bunker above the tunnel that is really nice but the other bunker on the top is a bit wierd looking, try and make it better using the bunker scenery make it look more realistic if you know what I mean because the Bunkers did not look like that in D Day. Take a look at the map 'Bunker' and see what the bunker looks like there, mabey try and do that on your map and then put camo nets and grass and stuff on the bunkers. Also mabey try and make it so that the bunkers are inside the hill not on top of it, just like you did with the bunker above the tunnel, that would look really cool. Also maybe extend the map behind the Bunkers and make a little villige, and then you could put the flag there. I don't mean to criticise, but I have been looking for a really good D Day map for a LONG time and I am hoping that you could make this one really good, also you did say that you wanted our comments

Hmm... I forgot that the bunkers were inside the ground on D-Day.. Tnx for reminding me.. Ill erase teh whole bunker and ree-do it..

A vilige behind the bunker... Damn... That would be hard for the Red team to infiltrate..

The 2 spraw point are in the air beacous i wanted some paratropers :) I gues ill have to remove that too...

I have got a hand on some Nazi flags and modified em for soldat! [:P] They will be in/on the bunker


EMM!!! Ill probobly make the vilige... Thers only 1 problem.. I need the pictures of houses.. [xx(] I cant find em..

No, the paratroppers idea is really good. That is one of the reasons why I suggested that you should add a village so that you can have some people paratroppe in to it, because in D Day they did not only storm the beaches but they also paratrooped in behind enemey lines. If you do make a village then I think that you should put some stationary guns on the roofs of the houses to shot at the paratroopes because the flag would be in the village and that would be a bit unfair to the defenders if people would just drop in and take the flag. Also it would make it more realistic becuase during D Day the paratroopers did come under heavy fire, and it would also look really cool. Also when you remake the other bunkers try and camoflauge them, that would be cool also make sure that they are placed looking down the hill so that the defeners can shot down at the attackers. I think if you work on this really hard it will be one of the best maps made. Also post some more screen shots to show how you are doing and if you need any more suggestions or help ask me because I am very interested in D Day and also know alot about it.

Also I just took another look at the whole map and I don't see any real slopes with bunkers at the top, maybe do this after the tunnel and put a couple of bunkers in the hill and maybe some passages ways underground that connect those bunkers, and also maybe some rooms underground where you could get ammo and health. Then after that slope do the the village and that would be cool but maybe make a LITTLE forest before the village to seperate the beach from the village.

Ok... I demolished the bunker.. MAde the vilage.. MAde a new (much beter) bunker... The new bunker is one big fortres... You ahve teh statinary gun for fireing outside, 1 statinary for defending the interiur, 4 statinary guns for defending teh flag.. And even with 4 statinarys its hard to defend teh flag from 3 paratropers [:D] Belive me .. I tryed with bots.. Damn hard

SDA I must say that you have done a really good job from the new screenshots it looks great (do you think you could map a whole map screenshot?). But one thing you know the map inf_warehouse, you know what the warehouse looks like, mike did not use and villiage scenery see if you can make small houses the way he did the warehouse. Still it turned out to be really good.

I think that you have some skill in map layouts but you still need to work on aesthetics (what the map looks like, and getting edges and smoothness right).

Dude... When i round the edges u guys say they are TOO rounded!!! LOL ! So i did minimal raunding... And i intend to keep it that way.. The only think i want to change is the village and waypoints :P

SDA: you have to find the balance between sharp and round edges. Look at Michals maps for inspiration.
