Hi Guys

If you find any bugs in the forum code that are not already reported just post in here I'll do my best to get it fixed ASAP.

Also if you have any requests for add-ons to the forum just shout and I'll see what I can do.

an easy way to PM someone instead of copy the username going to the pm area then paste the username and write the message... Maybe for instance, a drop down menu in the quick reply box that has all the users that have replied to the message and a button beside the drop down menu that says pm user, or better yet, a button in the bar with all the little icons... dont know what you would call it so I'll describe it. little icon for profile little icon for email poster little icon for icq little icon for AIM... on and on... right besite the posted date. Put a PM user button there.

I dont know if I'm the only guy having this problem, but this stuff doesnt seem to work for me:

Contains new posts since last visit.
No new posts since the last visit.

this pink and yellow folders
I just viewed all topics and the forum still tells me that there are new posts.
maybe i have problems w/ cookies or its a bug in the forum OR i am just plain stupid.
or its all 2gether

now a request referred to this:
A page where I can see a list of all topics where are new posts (for me).
would be useful and would actually decrease traffic.

my 1st problem is more important of course, but this would be a nice feature, too!

EDIT: sorry, I just found a page like that:
http://soldatforum.dnagames.net/active.asp

but it still keeps telling me there are new posts but i have already read em!

Maybe a check mark in the Quick reply to be notified if the thread you just replied to has been replied to... The way thats written sounds strange for some reason... but anyway, maybe through PMing the user who requests a notification or by emailing the person through their signup email... Also, that would only work once.. For instance you would only get a notification when its is replied to, then if you didnt re-reply (click the notify me box) there would be no further notification about that thread...

If you visit regularly you're best to use the active.asp link (I always bookmark that page).

That page displays all new posts since you last visited (it can't 'count' the threads that you have actually read). Once you have worked your way through the new posts click on the [IMAGE] icon to mark all the old posts as read

Even if you where not to click on the [IMAGE] and where to close down your browser then come back to the site you should only see on the active page any posts that posted since your last visit.

(update) Change of plan, the quick reply box is not changing, full subcription options are avaliable in the 'post reply' link.

I dont know if you are in charge of this particular aspect of the forum but the color for when a moderator is online does not work at all for the current color scheme. You can only read it if you select the text.. Green and this grey blue color dont work at all... The color for the admin doesnt work to well either...
