how do i set my options, i suppose under network i choose lan, and then when requesting game si choose internet, right?

You got LAN and can join whatever you want.

i did so, but it says lobby server down, where everyone tells me it is up

Sometimes lobby server is down for me to. I just press Cancel and Request again untill it works.

Yeah I'm having similar troubles at the moment...

I'm guessing the lobby is working for everyone else?

I am behind a router - the evil router that is my adsl modem...

It prevents people from directly joining any games I host...
It uses evil methods to hide my IP address from me...
It wants to eat my children!!! (lucky for them they don't exist huh)


But since about 2/3 days ago I haven't been able to access the lobby through Soldat - it works fine here:

But not in Soldat.

So I'm using ASE, but I'd rather use the lobby (so I can see ALL teh games :)
