I'm running game from my win98SE and getting such error [:(!]
But such file is present in needed folder (even in right syntax and register)

Can anybody advice something to make it work correctly ????
Thank's for any advice.

You'll have to give us a bit more information.

Tell us exactly when this problem happens, what hardware, drivers and DirectX versions you're running, and what other programs you have running in the background.

Same thing is happening to me also, I start the game and it gives me "Error loading texture: C:\Program Files\Soldat\GOSTEK-GFX\PARA-ROPE.BMP"

Sometimes it's
\WEAPONS-GFX\CHAINSAW2.BMP
or
\WEAPONS-GFX\KNIFE2.BMP
or sometimes it lets me in the game. quite strange. image attached.

edit: typo

PS: I'm getting all kinds of different errors, it's like it picks a random graphic and says it can't load it XD

Well, I'm tempted to say that it's not a Soldat problem as such...

Providing the files are definately there and all...

And you have reinstalled (and maybe redownloaded) Soldat and it's fix.

hmmmmm

I've reinstalled and redownloaded multiple times, I've tried installed to different paths each time and everything.

"Providing the files are definately there and all..."

I was thinking, it says error loading, not that it's missing, maybe it just can't load it for some reason.

Yes, the fact that it's random is quite strange...

All your software, DX, drivers, etc are up to date right?

And your winXP install is happy?
