Well, I've installed Soldat and the fix successfully (however Soldat was installed without running Config), and trying to start soldat gave me an error: "unable to find d3d8.dll"...

I've found it, copied to my "windows/system" foldes and tried again... This time I have "Unable to execute ddraw.dll. Check file contents".

Maybe you, ppl, have some suggestions... (Excepl: re-install f*****g Windows).

The 'd3d8.dll' is a core Direct X Direct 3D file.

Which means that you probably don't have a working DX 8+ installation.

Go and grab Direct X 9.0b (the latest version) from here:

that should fix your problem :)
