The forum is not updating after I read an article and sometimes goes back a couple of weeks. Let me know if this gets fixed.

Not quite sure what you mean.

I tend to use the active.asp exclusivly, open the page every time you visit, it will then display all the new posts since you where last here. Right click on each topic you want to read, then click on the 'mark all topics as read' icon on the top left of the page.
